Delicious Orange Cake with Chocolate Ganache

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and line a rectangular baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another large bowl, beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  5. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract — mix well.
  6. Gradually fold in dry ingredients until smooth.
  7. Pour into the baking pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool completely.

Step 2: Make the Chocolate Filling

  1. In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, heavy cream, and cocoa powder.
  2. Stir constantly over low heat until smooth.
  3. Add chocolate and butter, mix until melted and glossy.
  4. Let it cool slightly — it should thicken as it cools.

Step 3: Assemble

  1. Slice the cooled cake horizontally into two layers.
  2. Spread the chocolate filling evenly on the bottom layer.
  3. Place the top layer back on.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar.

Step 4: Serve
